About the Role:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and security-cleared AWS DevOps/Cloud Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS, Terraform, GitLab CI, and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or PowerShell. Additionally, familiarity with Grafana for monitoring and visualization is essential. This role requires the candidate to work on-site in London for 2 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining days.

Key Responsibilities:

• AWS Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient AWS infrastructure.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain scripts in Shell, Python, or PowerShell to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitoring and Logging: Set up and manage monitoring and logging solutions using Grafana to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure all cloud infrastructure and processes comply with security standards and best practices, particularly those required for SC clearance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.

Required Skills and Experience:

• AWS Expertise: Proven experience in managing AWS services and infrastructure.
• Terraform: Strong experience with Terraform for IaC.
• CI/CD: Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
• Scripting: Proficient in scripting with Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with Grafana for monitoring and visualization.
• Security Clearance: Must hold current SC clearance.
• On-site Availability: Ability to work on-site in London for 2 days a week.
