We provide specialist and proven design capability, manufacturing, testing and commissioning in dedicated facilities. At our UKAS accredited laboratory we build high quality metering solutions for the precision measurement of energy in large capacity circuits.

Our solutions are used by National Grid, major UK power stations, ABB, Alstom, Mitsubishi and others. In addition to our onshore credentials we also meter the energy generated by offshore wind turbines for the likes of Orsted, Hitachi Energy, Equinor, and naturally all of our work is independently verified.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager to join the growing metering business within the company. You will be responsible for the delivery of projects from sales/ tendering handover through to completion and handover to customers. The brand are constantly innovating and pushing the boundaries in how digitalisation is shaping the future of the energy industry; we need the best talent onboard to be able to support us on this journey!

Furthermore, this role also includes people management responsibilities where you’ll be responsible for the project delivery team.


This is your role. What part will you play?

1. Delivery of grid metering projects, achieving customer requirements and in accordance with project management requirements

2. Full ownership for all project phases (project engineering, procurement & manufacture, FAT, delivery, installation, SIT, SAT & final commissioning

3. Interface and liaise with all stakeholders to ensure all objectives are met to budget and on time 4. Responsible for management of Project Engineers within the project delivery team Management of project resources and project budgets

5. Manage EHS (Environment, health and safety) in connection with delivery of projects Identify and manage project risks

6. Support & collaborate with Sales/Tendering during pre-sales phase of projects


What does it take to be successful in this role?

7. Knowledge and experience of precision high accuracy metering and electrical measurements Electrical engineering technical background

8. Knowledge of high voltage transmission and distribution networks BSc/HND in engineering discipline.

9. Project management experience and formal qualification advantageous

10. People management experience would be beneficial

11. Great communication and influencing skills
