Ntrinsic Consulting are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior DevOps engineer to join the infrastructure team for cloud operations at SAP SuccessFactors. This team is building next-generation infrastructure, thus enabling the company transition to public cloud infrastructure. This is an exciting time for those who are looking to help with this transition.


Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts in automation, continuous deployment, and build and configuration management.
  • Develop and maintain a monitoring system that overlooks our build landscape.
  • Suggest and drive improvements in how the team works.
  • Collaborate with teammates to hone your ideas and build consensus.
  • Identify and address security and performance issues.
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.


Key skills/experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline that provides a solid background in software development.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others, as well as work independently.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and programming skills.
  • Strong technical problem solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Proficient knowledge and administration experience in either of the DB flavours like SAP MAXDB, HANA or MySQL.
  • Experience of working in large landscape/environment where multiple database flavours are running.
  • Hands on experience with expert knowledge of Unix/Linux flavours w.r.t Database.
  • Previous experience on other RDBMS flavours is an added advantage
  • Should be capable of Owning, Leading and coordinate operational tasks, customer escalations, process improvements
