Senior Energy Commercial Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Senior Commercial Analyst to focus on utility-scale battery assets, with additional responsibilities in C&I solar and EV infrastructure. This dynamic role involves overseeing the product and commercial development of our behind-the-meter Energy Asset portfolio, supporting the sales team with proposals and technical analyses, and conducting financial assessments. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, results-oriented, and possess a strong background in commercial management, project management, and financial analytics, enabling them to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Development: Support the product and commercial development for utility-scale battery assets and related projects.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to develop compelling sales decks, proposals, and technical analyses of potential sites.
  • Financial Analytics: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess project viability and support decision-making processes.
  • Project Management: Manage various projects within the Behind the meter Assets portfolio, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to inform strategy and project development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align commercial strategies with technical capabilities.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial analysis, preferably within the energy sector or related industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis (via Excel), and reporting (PowerPoint, Word)
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the energy market, particularly trends and technologies related to Battery, Solar and EV Sectors.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving objectives.
