As part of our team, you will be responsible for leading our assembly and commissioning teams, both locally and remotely, based on customer sites. Reporting directly to Workshop & Field Manager you will act as deputy on a wide range of project delivery responsibilities.

You'll make a difference by:

  • Lead, develop and motivate a group of dedicated qualified workshop and field team members to achieve the targets set
  • Ensure adherence to defined guidelines, processes and procedures; 
  • Support overtime and expenses claims review and approval
  • Coordinate engineering activities performed by a team and control execution according to the organisational guidelines; 
  • Preparation and review of RAMS and job cards
  • Provide suitable work environment and implement people management processes; 
  • Own and manage training and tools log for all team members
  • Support planning and allocation of resources and budgets to engineering projects and activities;
  • Collaborate with Project Coordinator and Tendering Engineer
  • Perform work-in-progress and post-completion audits, also on customer sites


What does it take to be successful in this role?

  • Electrical/technical background required
  • Self-sufficient and organised; Self-starter keen to pick up new skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and an engineering curiosity mindset
  • Excellent administration written and verbal communication skills
  • Stakeholder management skills across all levels of seniority
  • It would be great if you have the following but these are not necessary:
  • People management and leadership experience
  • Knowledge of power industry, transmission and distribution networks
  • Knowledge of Information security and Cybersecurity
  • Ability to interpret and use project planning software (AutoCAD knowledge)
